3D Kink Interview

There’s quite a lot of interesting detail about the complexity of pushing out new kinky content for 3D Kink, as well as a few specific tidbits of information, including these highlights:

There will be five new rooms added in 2010;
A manual will be available sometime in 2010 (hooray!); and
Improving the pain response of the 3D Kink avatars (in effect, making them act more kinky when spanked or whipped) is on the radar, but it’s a difficult task given the AI system being used.

There’s a new 3D Kink update out and it has several items of kinky interest, plus a bunch of interface improvements and such. The complete details are here in the Kinkland.com forums. Some highlights:

Bondage locations in the Pose Editor
More piercings (although still no big nose ring)
Bunny ears for the furries without having to use the slightly-creepy full-faced mask (now for guys too!)
Ability to export and share video in common formats
A lot more control over where (in the existing locations) the characters are posed for action.

After quite a lot of messing around with 3D Kink, I find that the “game” part still isn’t as interesting to me as the posing-and-costuming aspect. It’s when used as a fantasy illustration tool (what ErosBlog called a “Brain Image Instantiator”) that the software truly seems to shine.

Thus I was delighted to discover this morning a little illustrated fantasy at Bondage Blog about a mysterious latex-clad woman called Biohazard Jane:

Two or three nights a week, there’s a woman in the bathroom in this dive bar down by the river. She never takes off the latex or the gas mask, she never tries to speak, she won’t take any money, and there isn’t so much as a tip jar in there. Word is, the last guy who tried to hurt her turned up in a dumpster about ten blocks away, with broken arms. But she’s friendly and she’ll fuck any man who goes in and locks the door. They call her Biohazard Jane:

3D Kink Feature Request: Better (Kinkier) Nose Ring

There’s quite a variety of piercings available in 3D Kink “Sex Pack” upgrades, but I found myself to be mildly disappointed in the nose rings that were included. As jewelry they are a fine assortment, but for kinky purposes a big round slavegirl nose ring (big enough to grab with a finger, or the clip on a leash, or the hasp of a padlock) would be ideal. This is as close as you can currently get:

One of my current uncertainties (it’s quite a long list as this point) is whether there is any way for users of the 3D Kink software to create their own “sex pack” accessories or modify the shapes and textures of existing ones.

And hey, while we are wishing for pierced nose accessories, how about a cute little “Cannibal Princess” bone?
